In the business of scratching backs.

The internet was saying a bunch of nice stuff about the new Ford Fusion. Like, to the point that it would be rude if we didn't do something about it. So we partnered with Ghost Robot, and together mined hundreds of comments for inspiration. Those led to concepts which led to scripts which took us to six different cities, filming as we went. We created over 40 videos, countless other pieces of content and engaged with fans in a truly meaningful way. It was a fantastic six months making fantastic stuff with fantastic people. This is some of it. (Here's some more. And some more. And a few other things.)

If you're thinking this kind of reminds you of Wes Anderson meets Punk'd, ding ding. That was the concept we were working with. So thanks for noticing.

Paul F. Tompkins + Reggie Watts.
A dash of good Good Carma in Austin.
A personal Auto Show in Louisiana for a guy named Andre.
An Undercover Car Wash in Miami.
And a Perception Drive in a random Brooklyn warehouse with Abbi Jacobson.
No wonder we got over 11 million views.

While Sandy was hitting NYC, we were hitting the streets of Austin with ballerinas and puppies for anyone who "liked" the Fusion. And the dude with the sunglasses? He really tried to chase down that actress. We intervened and put him back on the right path.

Yep, that's Abbi Jacobson of "Broad City," confusing the crap out of a regular guy with a bit of prepping about the car from us and alot of improv from her. This was basically right before she started the show, so do we get founder's credit?

The Ultimate Thank You

During the most stressful three hours of my life, we hosted a game show on YouTube. It included: a sweaty Dave Hill, an ensemble cast of ten and a gift basket the size of a two-story building. Which we threw gifts into as people paid the car compliments. ALL LIVE. (Aka, FML.)

So what happened when we gave
Reggie Watts a bunch of these
random Internet comments?
