Paul F. Tompkins: He's got more most than your host

Our #backatyou campaign for the new Ford Fusion couldn't be all puppies and ballerinas. At some point we had to get down to brass tacks about the car we were trying to sell. Enter our host, Paul F. Tompkins (aka PFT). The formula was simple: weird internet comment + studio setting + minimal props and cast. The scripts practically wrote themselves and Paul easily slid into the role of lovable spokesman.

Fusion Intervention

And then - as if on cue - the clients just wanted to highlight features of the car. No problem. We took Paul out of the studio and put him in the real world, where he offered a solution to the most egregious drivers around.

 

The videos were paired up with Fusion-sponsored someecards and shared on FB. #sorelatable
